My name is Penelope Adams; I am a proud mother of, without a doubt, the best son in the world. I work in a 9 to 5 job as an office administrator to make money to support my reading habit.
According to my mother, I have been reading since before I could actually walk. That might be an exaggeration but since I can't remember a time I didn't love to read, I'm going with it. I don't have a favorite genre or author, all books are good to me. I'm fascinated with history and love to travel and have been fortunate enough to get to combine the two interests and see many places around the world. My other interests include, exploring the ocean, photography (both above and below the water) and anything that takes me outdoors.

Mary Bernsen is a southwest Florida native currently living in Punta Gorda with her two beautiful children and a third, much larger child that she affectionately calls husband. She is a stay-at-home mother and spends her days creating characters on the good side of twenty-five because she is in serious denial about the fact that she is now on the bad side of it. She has a passion for fantasy of any kind along with historical fiction. If she isn't having conversations with her made-up friends, you can usually find her clipping coupons or out on the boat enjoying the muddy waters of Peace River (as long as it isn't below 80 degrees).
I moved to the Pacific Northwest from Virginia two years ago. I was born in Indianapolis but raised in South Florida, specifically Boynton and Delray Beach area. I am 65 this year, an avid reader from childhood, majored in English Lit at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and am also a USNavy veteran. I have two grown daughters and a son, worked at Virginia Beach Central Library for a few years before I lost my husband to cancer, and have done reading/reviewing on primarily Goodreads and Amazon. I have a Facebook page, a Twitter account, use my Apple Macbook and iPad every day to keep up with the world, and my Goodreads Reading Challenge for the past three years reflects my reading habits---actually I read over 180 books last year, speeding up since I have a lot of free time these days. I have traveled to 49 of the 50 states during various stages of my life, lived in Newfoundland, the Bahamas and Iceland, and will read and review just about anything, all genres, fiction, non-fiction. I have also ridden in rodeo in my youth, was an artist's assistant for one year, and worked as a custom picture framer for 10 years, as well as retail off and on.
A geeky guy with a passion for politics, history, and science fiction, Bruce Denney has been involved in science fiction and fantasy fandom since his college days back at University of Oklahoma in the late 1970s. A chemist by degree, a systems analyst by experience, Bruce has been known as a “computer whisperer” by people who have watched him work. His reading passions include David Weber’s “Honor Harrington” series, the C.S. Forrester “Hornblower” series, and Kim Harrison’s “Hollows” series. He’s also into Firefly, Dr. Who, Supernatural, and True Blood. He married Charlayne Elizabeth Denney after a whirlwind six-month romance in 1993 and they combined their vast libraries, which now take up three rooms of their Houston-area house.
I am just a lover of books. I read all kinds of genre's but PNR is my current obsession. Reading has allowed me to expand my point of view, think outside the box and laugh out loud. I look forward to discovering new worlds in print.
I am a wife, proud mother of one and owner of a soy candle business. When I am not making candles, gardening/canning, or doing things with my family I spend my time reading.
I have enjoyed reading since I was a kid. My love for books has followed me into adulthood and rubbed off on my daughter who also loves to read. I love all types of books and I don't really have a favorite genre, although I do tend to lean toward historical and paranormal romance. A good book to me is one that I can't guess what is going to happen within the first few chapters. I have enjoyed being a beta reader this past year for the PRG and have come across some really great authors that I was able to share with my friends that also enjoy reading. Thank you for the opportunity to be a reviewer and the chance to come across more interesting authors.
As most of you know, I'm not a writer...I'm a reader, so I feel privileged to be included in this group.
Good day to all! My name is Jennifer Kost. I grew up in Indiana, where I also received my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Yep… gasp…I am a sparky! I worked several years in the corporate world (different states) before deciding to take a new path.
Married for almost 19 years, I am a stay at home mom in Iowa to our six children, whom I also home school. Never afraid to try new things (you only live once), I have taken on volunteer responsibilities in my community as well as created an online natural body products business.
The single constant in my life has been my love of reading. I have decided to only do what I love. With that in mind, my latest adventure is a new path in the written realm as a freelance proofreader / copy editor.
I read all genres, but in my personal reading time I am currently stuck on anything “paranormal romance”.

I am Gloria Lakritz/ aka grammy, and I am the Chairperson and Senior Reviewer for the The Paranormal Romance Guild. I am a reader of all genres and I love everything written. My excitement a few years ago, in meeting a group of Small Published and Indie writers on Amazon, had put me on a course to have them form a group for the benefit of their field. Here we are today, a little over 1 yr old and 50 strong. I am proud of them, and I think that we can grow and help all who dare to dream!!!

Well, after spending a lifetime working in or with the military, I finally had made enough money to sit back and do as much (or as little) as I wanted to, and since I had always been an avid reader, the jump to making it one of my major pastimes was easy.
I have traveled all over the world, been to the top of the Eiffel Tower and to the Devil’s Anvil in Saudi Arabia, been on top of the highest mountain in the Middle East and the lowest in the USA. No complaints here.
I have read many different genres over the years but stumbled into Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy after many years of reading mostly books in the Fantasy genre. Found out I liked books that did not spend pages and chapters telling the color of grass and the feel of a rock, I wanted a good story about people of action and passion that did not always end up in some tragedy. I have been married (somehow) for 30+ years and have 3 daughters and one son (presently in the Mideast working for the military…runs in the family).
To be honest, other than reading and doing those myriad tasks that come with owning a home, I spend a bit of time honing my weapon skills. I always felt that people should be able to defend themselves, but people that did not take the time to get skilled in weapons were a danger to people around them. I go to the range and take my daughters most of the time (and my son if he is in country) so they do not fall into that category of victims who did not know how to defend themselves.
I am an avid reader the mother of 3 sons and grandmother to seven grandchildren. Since retiring I have been doing more reading while volunteering as a CASA worker. CASA is an organization that works with the family court system to ensure that children are in the best living situation. There are way too many children that get overlooked in the foster care system and I visit homes and make visits to the parents. I was born and raised in New York and my husband of 50 years and I live in Upstate New York.
PATTY McKENNA Van HULLE
I am Patty, and reading is what keeps me sane in my disabled world. Reading helps me focus on my many book's COSMOS and takes me out of my Meniere's HADES! I love to smile, giggle, SNAUGH (snorting laughter) and hyperventilate with laughter! My small universe includes my AWESOME son, who lives in Alabama, my AMAZING daughter/mom, who I live with, her fiancé and my two furry grandbabies, Simba and Zooey!
In December 2013, my daughter helped me set up Facebook and I got to giggle, chat about romance books, find new authors, connect with some of my favorite authors, and it opened a whole world for me! Callie Hutton asked me to read and review her book, The Duke's Quandary, and that's how I started reviewing books. I get to combine my two favorite things, laughter and awesome romance books, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
I have learned that my romance genres needed to expand, so I started consuming some vampires, gargoyles, shape shifters, demons, Necromancers, angels, dragons and so many other paranormal entities into my reading diet! Now I am still a diehard historical romance Greek, but with paranormal romance, my imagination is unlimited!
I am 50, the Director of Finance for a Nonprofit agency in Atlanta, and a voracious reader. Being one of the ten native Atlantans still here, I grew up in the northern burbs and am still a Southern Gentleman .
I read almost anything, and in the past year have discovered m/m romance, and have gotten into many of the fine authors that write in that genre. I alread read tons and tons of scifi/fantasy/horror and paranormal books of all types.
In my spare time, I am a good country cook, listen to almost any kind of music, and spend way too much time on Facebook tormenting writers.

My name is Sandy Wolters. I am an author and blogger. My genre of choice is contemporary romance and romance/suspense/thriller, both with a ghostly paranormal twist. Nothing beats a good romance, especially when those you love and have lost come back to assist you in unexpected ways when you need them most.
I host a blog called Sandy's Spotlight that I introduce fabulous authors to avid readers every other Friday. I provide information about the author and a book review for the featured book. Starting mid December 2011, I will host a book discussion to run simultaneously with the author and book that is appearing on Sandy's Spotlight for readers to interact with the featured author. No invitation needed! Everyone is welcome to join in.
