Hey everyone! I’m Melissa Sercia and when I’m not writing dark urban fantasy books, I love to drink wine, read, cook, bake, and play video games. I also love to travel. Some of my favorite vacation spots are Lake Tahoe, New York City, and Seattle. I’m a huge comic book fan as well and I’m addicted to ComicCons. I’ve been to Emerald City ComicCon, The Walking Dead Con, and The Vampire Diaries Con. I’m Sicilian American and I absolutely inherited my nonna’s passion for cooking. Even though I’ve been gluten free for 6 years, I pride myself on cooking amazing gluten free comfort food!

[gallerybox id=”13057″]I started writing Blood and Magic in 2013. It was my first novel and I was so proud when it was published by City Owl Press in 2018. It was also the first in my Blood and Darkness trilogy. I’m so proud of the world I’ve created with these books. The characters have become a part of me and will be forever. Smoke and Ritual is the first book in my spinoff series, Beautiful Dark Beasts. I worked tirelessly for over a year on this new series and I’m so happy with it. I am creating an entire universe around these books with more spinoffs, prequels, and side stories to come!
