I must preface my review with how much I adore this author. Jordan Hawk has seen me through Widdershins their first series that managed to capture the authors love and spirit for all things that go bump in the night.
In between that series, this author managed to turn their fans on to the SPECTRE series where Caleb is inhabited by a vampire spirit Gray and has 40 days or it will become permanent. See what I mean?
In this newest series we are back in Widdershins years after the first series, and are back at the same Ladysmith Museum where two young men work together in the Library. I can remember thinking back to the Wybornne and Griffin series, how the librarians thought of themselves as protectors, and this has not changed.
Book One Unhallowed gave us the new group of characters, and of course the main characters have me feeling if this were a movie I would be holding my hands over my eyes and peeking through the small opening at the screen.
Since I am still reading and haven’t gotten scared off, I find Ves and his brother Noc worthy of so much more. Sebastian is the solid loving trustworthy boy friend Ves needs. I can not say enough about this author or this new series…..except try it!
