Charlotte Austen has been in love with her two best friends, Chris and Drew Malcom, since high school, but choosing between them was never an option. The day she said goodbye to them was a painful one, especially since she thought she would never see them again. Ten years and one visit later changes everything.

Alaskan tiger shifters, Chris and Drew, have never gotten over Charlotte. The fact that they were both in love with her was never the problem … being destined for a mate, however, was. They reach out to her, hoping to find a way to resume their friendship. The three of them get an unsuspected surprise when they see each other again.

The trio’s happy discovery does not come without a price. Jealousy and prejudice threaten to destroy the budding romance. Will Chris and Drew be able to stop the threat before they lose the love of their lives forever?

Charlotte Austen fell in love.  Unfortunately for her, the love she found in high school was not with one man, but two.  To further complicate things, those two men were brothers.  Unable to choose, Charlotte leaves the small town in Alaska and never plans to see the guys again.  She follows in her Air Force father’s footsteps until finally settling in Florida.  But her heart never forgets her guys.

Chris and Drew Malcom knew that they both loved Charlotte.  For them that was never the complication.  Their issue was the knowledge that somewhere they had a fated mate, and they would have to say good-bye to their Charlotte anyway.  So even though they didn’t try to prevent her leaving, they never stopped loving Charlotte.  Deciding that they had to find her, they reach out on social media, and the trio finally reunite, only to find those feelings are as strong as ever.  They also discover why they were drawn to each other to begin with.  While there are supporters of the trio, not everyone is happy with the reunion.  Defending their love becomes bigger than they ever imagined.

This is a quick read.  But Elena Kincaid infuses a lot of information, a lot of drama, and a lot of heat into these pages.  I wished that some of the scenes were more fleshed out.  As the first book in a series, the establishment of the mythology of the shifters etc is so important.  It is well done in this book, I just wanted more!!  This is not only a shifter story, but it is also a ménage romance.  It is handled really well and is a natural part of the  world that is created.  I look forward to seeing what happens next in this Arctic Ice series.
