At the age of eighteen Nissa Alexander left her clan in Bear Paw River to go to the big city. For two years she lived with her best friend and boyfriend and kept her bear totally locked away until she found them having sex in her bed. Now she is home but her bear refuses to come out and her brother Bo the Alpha of the clan has decided he wants her to shift and is putting pressure on her.
Nissa has always feared her other half afraid that she will be dangerous and hurt innocent people and cubs but she finally gets her bear to come out and then finds herself being attacked by another shifter, a wolf.
Zach is not an ordinary shifter he is the heir to the throne of the Herne Clan and has always lived a life of luxury. Now Zach is a tracker and has gotten permission from Bo to track on bear land looking for a female shifter whose clan wants her back very badly. The minute Zach and Nissa touch there is no doubt in their minds that they are mates and neither one of them is willing to act on it. Nissa is afraid of being tied down and Zach has work to do, find these missing shifters and his missing sister.
If like me you love shifter books then you know that denying your mate is no easy task and yet Zach and Nissa are willing to try. But when lion shifters appear and endanger his mate Zach has to rethink whether he is willing to let her go.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
