The Cozy Corgi Bookshop and Bakery is buzzing with tourists, and Winifred Page and her quirky corgi, Watson, celebrate the Fourth of July picnicking with family and friends—of the human and four-legged variety. As summer blooms with romance for Fred and Sergeant Branson Wexler, murder lurks around the corner.

This is the 6th book in this charming mystery series! We certainly have lost lots of townspeople since our Fred came to town; truly. But aside from solving another grisly murders, our girl has made a life changing decision herself.
When Winifred age came to Estes Park Colorado, she came with her corgi Watson. She came to be with family and to sorta re -efine herself after a painful divorce and loss of her publishing business.
She adored reading and opened her own book store aptly naming it The Cozy Corgi. Along came Katie and a bakery was put on the second level, making the shop one of the most interesting stores in town.
Almost immediately there was a murder, and being the daughter of a police detective, Fred and Watson were instrumental in helping the police dept in the solving of the crimes……then again, and again.
Now Katie and Fred have hired assistants, life is good, business is good. Paulie who owns the pet shop with 2 crazy Corgi’s himself is almost killed in his own shop along with another town member. What is going on?????
I adore this series, and I was truly sad with the decision that was made about Branson….But I applauded Fred.
