Vampires and werewolves live long lives. The Sleepless City saga might have ended but the story continues

Welcome to the Vampire Guard, where legend and myth meet science and technology.

Vampires make the best spies. Throw a smart-mouthed werewolf in with three vampires, mix well, and The Vampire Guard's newest team is bound to become one of their greatest assets. Super spies with a full range of skills. Warrior, hacker, thief, and scientist. They get in, do the job, and get out before the bad guys ever know what hit them.

Forge, Blair, Declan, and Lucas are thrust into the world of high-tech spies and top-secret espionage conspiracies. Recruited into the world’s most elite and secret organization with one singular mission. Protect those who can’t defend themselves from ruin.

Together they must thwart an assassination attempt on the open waters of Lake Superior while tracking a previously unknown biological weapon controlled by the Qiguan—a weapon which may very well mean death for one of them.

I must begin this review by telling you the back story to this newest Series. I have been a fan of Elizabeth Noble for quite some time. Originally I was introduced to this cast of characters when Elizabeth Noble and Anne Barwell began a great series together a few years ago. These two wonderful authors decided to write a series, but did not share each the responsibilities of combining their skills into one book, as other authors have done. They took a different idea. While Ms. Barwell wrote Book# 1 and #3 ; Ms. Noble wrote book #2 and# 4 sharing the same characters and had written a wonderful four book series called The Sleepless City . ( for which they had been nominated for numerous awards.)

Now Elizabeth Noble has taken her cast, and has continued their lives in a new Series which I am reviewing today called Code Name -Jack Rabbit , The Vampire Guard Book 1)

Noble’s original cast of characters were Forge, Blair, Declan, and Lucas ; Three Vampires and Lucas the Shifter . Code Name – Jack Rabbit begins with the four being offered a job. But unbeknownst to them it’s a set up. Their skills as ‘warrior, thief, hacker, and scientist’ are being watched for years now by secret organization. But first they must pass the last test. Spying and Protection are our guy’s best assets. The secretive Vampire Guard is stationed all over the world using people like them to thwart high tech, highly developed criminals ….They hire professional teams to get in and get out quickly…..

Samuel Porter comes to town for the set up, with his crew. Porter is the head of a unique special investigation unit, Akhkharu Nasaru. Once our team is told the truth they are shown what a new world they are offered tech equipment and resources; more then they could ever dream of….It has Blair swooning….lol I was hooked meeting them in Sleepless City….I’m thrilled to follow their new adventures….5 *****Stars Ms. Noble!!!!
