Yay another visit to Cat’s Paw Cove, a place I love to read about. Anyone who loves paranormal romance and cats will absolutely love this series who wouldn’t love a series with great characters and cats that don’t just have cat-itudes but when they stick their tail in the air and ignore you they also do it with a verbal come-uppance.
In book twelve we met Charlotte Redbird and now we get to meet her brother Brendon. Brendon met Naomi Eleionos and fell fast and hard but when he walked in to find her in the arms of another man he walked out with her yelling he would never get away from her. Off he went to Orlando, Florida to visit with Charlotte now pregnant with twins and his grandmother who lives at the Feline Fine Retirement Home.
It is a FFRH he meets Tessa, a water nymph and the three Sherwood cats who seem to have taken up residence in the cottage he is renting. Tom, Dick and Harry, yes that is their names welcome him verbally and he is sure he is on Candid Camera. Brendon has a problem accepting that there is magic in the world when his world is filled with science. The arrival of Naomi and her campaign to get him back begins to open his eyes, there is more to the world then he could ever have imagined and not all of it is good.
Cats begin to stop talking and begin to bark, water turns into sludge so someone is causing trouble, who and why I won’t reveal but it is a fun, fun, fun ride.
Like I said amazing characters, amazing cats (I wouldn’t mind having one and I am a dog person) and surprises and a mystery.
