OMG if I wanted to blurt it out, What a Spoiler Alert I would have on this review. After reading the first story of Francesca (Frankie) and Aiden’s story, and the reward the authors gave them of a HEA, I truly was stunned and side swiped by Heavy Artillery Husband.
All the events are the same, Frankie’s dad an US Army General was charged and convicted of treason. Frankie’s mother Sophia was dealing with this and the terrible accident Frankie’s convoy walked into overseas, with Frankie’s near death and paralysis. To cope after her husband’s suicide, Sophia Leone leaned on a close friend to help her open a consulting firm, the dream she and her husband had planned for retirement.
Her life a mess, her daughter’s refusal to speak to her for almost a year after the funeral, her husband gone. The bright spot came when Frankie contacted her about her engagement, wanting her mother to meet her husband- to- be Aiden Abbot. Delighted to get a second chance, Sophia jumped into wedding plans with both feet. Aiden and Frankie had their own agenda and stirred up enough for Sophia to learn the man she thought was a friend, to help run the business had other plans.
Heavy Artillery continues this story with a twist I did not see coming, and now Sophia battles to get her family back anyway she can. You can read the blurb and see a bit of what is coming, but my lips are sealed….Great story again ladies, well done!!!!
