I am a huge fan of Cynthia Woolf’s historical western romances and now I am a huge fan of her contemporary western romance. I loved going back in time but now I can relate to the characters and the modern appliances I can’t live without and indoor plumbing lol.

Shavon Montgomery was a defense lawyer in Chicago but had to give everything up to care for her eighteen-month-old niece Georgie left orphaned when her sister was killed by her jealous husband.

When Shavon’s grandmother died, she left her Victorian mansion in Twin Bluffs, Montana to Shavon which she hopes to turn into a Bed and Breakfast and raise Georgie. Shavon has enough to never have to work again but running a B&B is a dream and she is determined to make it a reality and with Grace her grandmother’s housekeeper staying on to help and a carpenter Grace hired working on the repairs her dream is closer than ever.

Brody James is the carpenter hired to turn the mansion into a B&B but he is a billionaire who prefers a simple life raising his five-year-old son Davy. Brody is invited to stay at the mansion while the construction is going on and Shavon is thrilled to have Davy who has taken a liking to Georgie and is determined to teach her to walk and talk and treats her like a little sister in spite of the age difference.

As Georgie and Davy get closer so does Brody and Shavon two people who have had past experiences that have made trusting and loving difficult for both.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Cynthia Woolf story if there wasn’t suspense and danger and there is both. Surprises, secrets, romance, suspense two adorable children and two damaged people who deserve to find love.

Wow my new love a contemporary western romance by Cynthia Woolf can’t wait for more.
