A wolf shifter thinks I'm his mate.

Not going to happen.

I'm half-siren and all single. No way am I giving up my freedom for some delusional furball.

Even if he's kind of cute. And considerate. And has warm eyes.

Besides, I have enough going on with running my retro rock club. And when an unexpected relative shows up there one night, it shakes me to the core.

The last thing I need is to add another complication to my life, especially something as mundane as monogamy.

Fans of New Girl will love the quirky roommates in the Salem Supernaturals series. Escape into a paranormal romantic comedy with a foodie wolf shifter and his awkward pursuit of a siren with family issues!

Gianna wasn’t going to get attached to anyone. She had already been through hell, almost literally, and her friend Nova had to rescue her.

So when Nova introduced her to Sebastian, there was no way she was going to get involved with him. Friends, maybe. But not a lover and certainly not a ….relationship.

Sebastian met Gianna and the wolf side of him started telling him “mate” even before he had any designs on such a thing. As he tried to stand back and keep his distance, the wolf kept urging him to claim her.

Hot In Witch City is the second in the Salem Supernaturals series. Gianna owns a bar in Salem (yes, that Salem) and her friend Nova is dating Sebastian’s roommate, Diego. Gianna is half-siren, mermaid, she’s never shifted and isn’t too sure she can. Sebastian is nice, kind, and a great cook with a restaurant. She’s certain that she’s not going to fall in love with him, despite what his inner wolf says about the situation.

Amid the new friendship, her mother comes back into her life. She left the infant Gianna with her father and disappeared. Her dad doesn’t want her to get involved with her mother, he’s had nothing but heartache from the woman.

And mom is determined to get Gianna to embrace her siren side, to help her and her pod with a project.

The story is told from the two main character’s sides, Giana and Sebastian, switching between them. It’s good to see their thoughts and the intentions behind their actions. I had a bit of a hard time getting into the book, maybe because I didn’t read book 1 first. But as it went along, I got more into the story and ended up liking it.

If you like shifters, both wolf and mermaid, you will like this one.
