This is a story about two men who are as different as night and day. Bull Krebbs is an ex-mercenary and is now half owner of a gay club. He is also in charge of the bouncers and seeing to it that the club is safe for those who come in. He is a very scary looking guy with a shaved head and a look that says don’t mess with me.

For years Bull has lived alone. He is known for his one night stands, some only a few hours long. He doesn’t want any attachments; the club and his partner, Harry, are the only things that matter in his life. That is until the night that a young man comes to the club and changes his life.

Zach Spencer is a graphic artist and the most unlikely person for Bull. When Bull searches him for drugs or alcohol before letting him in the club, Zach begins to giggle complaining that Bull is tickling him so Bull calls him Tickle Boy. Before long Tickle Boy is watching the male exotic dancers and suddenly finds himself on the floor. When Bull picks him up and carries him to a safe spot Zach immediately senses that what he sees on the outside is not what is on the inside, Bull in spite of his size and growls is sensitive and caring. But is what Zach feels really the true Bull?

From that moment on Bull becomes a hero in Zach’s eyes. He begins writing a comic book about Bull. Wanting to have some background as to what Bull actually does in his job so that he might have a good idea for his story, he asks Bull out for lunch. It is a lunch that will change everything.

Now Bull is attracted to a man much younger than him. On top of that, he’s a virgin. Zach is everything Bull thought he would never look for in another man but he was wrong. Like Bull, Zach on the inside is more than what you see on the outside.

Both Bull and Zach have secrets. Zach came from a very strict and religious family where his uncle ruled with an iron hand. Even though Zach was thrown out of the family, his parents still loved him and when they died in a house fire Zach was left totally alone. Bull, on the other hand, has enemies from his time as a mercenary. Will they come back to cause trouble for Bull? Will Bull and Zach find the love that they always wanted?

Once again Andrew Grey has written a beautiful story that just proves that beauty is only skin deep and that what is inside a person is what counts. There is explicit M/M sex, secrets, and pasts that manage to come back to cause trouble. Andrew Grey never ceases to come up with stories that touch the heart, and this is one of them.
