Four members of The Vampire Guard—Forge, Blair, Declan, and Lucas—face a dangerous and elusive enemy.

And this time, it’s personal.

When massive tech outages impact everything from Wi-Fi to traffic control, Blair, Forge, Declan, and Lucas think it’s a simple matter of catching troublesome hackers.

But they quickly realize far more is at stake. Millions of dollars in art are the target of a thief who’s not afraid to kill---and he’s no stranger. Not only has he escaped capture, twice, a decade ago, but he’s had a hand in life-altering tragedies throughout their lifetimes.

Once it becomes clear that art theft is just a fraction of his plan for mass destruction, they realize time is running out. The clock’s ticking. Catastrophe is imminent. Can they find and disarm all the bombs in time or will countless lives be lost?

The Fab Four has moved out of The Castle they’ve called home and have moved to a Safe House for the next 10 years as part of their new signed contract. From the moment this story started I realized from now on, these guys are going to be in terrible danger. The people they will be trying to catch are on another scale and they are going to need all the back up their Guard can muster.

The group was investigating a complaint. It seems traffic lights, wi fi and phone services had been faltering, and they thought it was Tech Hackers. Chasing a would be person into a building Blair (who should have been in the van) and Declan got separated from Lucas and Forge…..The building imploded and if he was not a vampire Blair would have died…..Being a vampire was not so great either until he was found pinned below ground by Declan. Lucas arrived and helped medically and Forge’s strength got him loose. Blair’s injuries required very serious steps for him to recover. Jonas Forge’s guilt was palatable at Blair’s injuries; and was compounded by Blair’s fear of water, as he was placed in a tank and submerged to heal.If you remember, Blair cannot swim and is terrified of water.

Ms. Noble crafted a story so well thought out….This complex story with flashbacks of the past, that this killer they need to find, had hurt each one of them dramatically in some way in their past; and it his capture became very personal.

This was a wonderful look into the past of these four which made this book even better for the reader getting to know them even more. The exciting scenes and planning were like watching a movie, instead of reading words.

Again 5 Stars and Book #3 awaits
