For Gage Woods, being a single dad means making sacrifices, and being a werewolf on top of it all makes secrets a must. As his pack brothers find their true mates, he yearns for his own, but dating is almost as perilous as fighting the rogue jaguar shifters who attack his pack. The moment he decides to give up and focus on his boys, fate steps in, but what if Becca is actually working with the enemy?

Becca Yates has always been a loner, and never more alone than today. When her uncle calls her with a dire warning about her boss and only real friend, her world is upended. She’s not sure who she can trust anymore, but if she doesn’t figure it out soon, it could cost her life.

With his special forces background Gage is ready to help Becca fight for the truth. The question is, will it set them free, or put them on a collision course with a disaster that even love can’t survive.

I can honestly say after reading all the books so far in this series that I am in love with each and every one and every wonderful character that is part of this pack. Now another pack member, Gage Wood is hoping to find his mate and a mother for his two little boys. Gage’s boys are almost three and it was his son Hawk that was kidnapped by the Evolution Defense. Fortunately, before any harm could befall him, he was rescued but every night he asks his father if they are far away. The threat to all the pack and especially the children is very real and staying alive is a constant battle because when one threat is eliminated another one appears.

Becca Yates works for Asher at his Wild Sedona Tours as the office manager, a job she has held for years without ever being aware of the fact that her boss and others are werewolves. Asher as the pack alpha has made it well known that none of his people are to get involved with her for fear of involving her in the threats always present. Gage has kept his vow to Asher and kept far away from Becca only having her sit for his boys when he had a date so when she called to talk to him and when bullets started flying and he touched her his vow would come to an end because one touch of her arm and his wolf knew they had found their mate who was right under their nose all the time.

The reason for Becca’s visit to Gage was to tell him about her uncle’s warning that Asher was dangerous and hanging out with dangerous people and he wanted her to leave Sedona immediately for her own safety. The bullets flying through the window was proof that some of what he said was true there was danger but was the danger from Asher or closer to home. Now with this latest attack and Becca’s involvement if it becomes necessary for the big reveal, everyone she knows is a werewolf. That is not Gage’s only fear because what happens when she discovers she is his mate.

As Becca comes to accept her new reality about the supernatural world she has been living in she also begins to be attracted to Gage still unaware of what she really is to him, his one true love. As if the present danger the pack lives in is not enough Gage and Becca come to realize that some of that danger may be coming from her own family and that Gage’s son’s deceased mother may also play a very important role in their lives.

As with all the previous books danger is ever present and there is one surprise after another. If you love books about shifters then this series is a must read, handsome werewolves, adorable children finding one’s mate and the constant fight to keep their secret from the public. I highly recommend reading this series in order and highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t been lucky enough to have tried it yet.
