Are you a Jordan Hawk fan yet????? What????? This young lady as some of the best thriller, paranormal series out there…. Did you know? After I catch my Wybornne and Griffin fix, and don’t get me wrong, I love that series; I start yearning for Gray.

SPECTR is “Strategic Paranormal Entity ConTRol.” They police everything nonhuman and keep humans safe from the things that go bump in the night. Gray is a 5000-year-old dracul (vampire) and here is where it all happens.

Handsome, sexy John Starkweather is an exorcist and is called to a scene where adorably sexy Caleb is inhabited by an NHE (Nonhuman entity). The entity which is our dracul wants to remain in this young strong body, and John’s attempts are not working, but we have 40 days in which to do this.

During that time, John, Caleb, and Gray are caught up in protecting the world, protecting each other, and forming a triad of very hot sexy times, as the three become a dynamic trio.

Through this series, which has now veered off to missing the time constraint and we continue ‘after the 40 days,’ the three have fallen in love, and have become invincible. Humans are fearful of Gray and Caleb after seeing what he is, what he can do in Caleb’s body. It is almost impossible for them to come to the office and be treated with all hatred against Caleb brought about by fear… this is not pleasant.

In the last book, Breaker of Chains, we were left in a bad place. John walked away from Gray’s bloodletting. I did not know how the three could find a way back. John’s boss, Barillo, has put a Kill Order out for Gray and John must do everything in his power to work against his entire unit to save them.

Ms. Hawk has mesmerized me with these characters. The voice of Gray, coming from within Caleb. I hear him. So, it is three lovers, two bodies, a ménage? Yes? and No. I loved how the author dug us out of the gore from the last book, and I cannot wait for more.
