Another spin-off of the amazing series Knights of the Black Swan. I have read all the books in the Black Swan series and loved each and every one just like I loved this one. This is the introduction to a new division of the Black Swan organization and a look into the life of the Headquarters Director of the Order of the Black Swan, Simon.

When Simon was twenty-three he was a vampire slayer and when his mentor died he was given a three month bereavement leave which he decided to spend camping in the Orkneys. It was there he saw a beautiful woman. The woman was Sorcha a fae who immediately recognized Simon as not just a human but her mate. Three days together she disappeared inside of a rock at the Ring of Thorgall and now twenty years later Simon has asked Elora Rose to help him locate her.

Simon has never gotten Sorcha out of his mind or heart and now he is willing to take the chance that she is still alive and that he can once again be reunited with her. If you have read the Black Swan series then you know that Rosie has unimaginable powers, she is both a witch and demon and her tracking ability is unmatched.

I don’t want to give anything away but in addition to the search for Sorcha, Simon begins to imagine the formation of a new division one aimed at stopping people from using doorways to gain access to their domain and in some cases causing trouble. The new division is D.I.T. Department of Interdimensional Trespass who who better to head it than someone who can access those doorways whenever she wants. That someone would be Rosie.

If you are new to the Black Swan series then I would highly recommend reading the books from the beginning this is the kind of series you never forget and never want to end.
