Cassandra Hudson has traveled across country to a small town in South Carolina to find a tall man with deep, blue eyes that she’s only met in her dreams. She “sees” that he’s in danger and wants to stop him from a possible death. But more than that, she’s desperate to solve a mystery that involves her husband who has been dead for over two years. Too bad for her, her dream man wants to solve the mysteries of her body more than help her find a solution to her problem.

When Dan Morgan stops to help a beautiful woman on the side of the road outside his hometown, he doesn’t realize that she will drag him into the world of the paranormal in an effort to find out what happened to her husband and the half million dollars he was accused of stealing. What he does realize is the strong attraction he feels for her, despite his distrust of anything mystical, and the undeniable power she holds over him using her sexy body as a lure.

Love—if they can capture it—will make it both easier and harder for them to find the answers they need.

Cassandra Hudson is psychic and has been having disturbing dreams for the past few months, dreams of a man with blue eyes and who she sees drowning in a town called Greenwood. She knows that she has to find the man but unfortunately first she has to find the right Greenwood and then find the right man.

Finally, by process of elimination she heads for Greenwood, South Carolina but on her way her tire blows out leaving her stranded. Then fate lends a hand when a truck drives up driven by the very man she has been dreaming of. Now there is no doubt she is in the right place and the man she is seeking fell right into her hands. Cassandra greeted him by his name which she knew without having met him in person and when she explains that she is there because his life was in danger, he is not very accepting.

Dan Morgan can’t accept what Cassandra is telling him and as an ex-cop he is convinced she is running a scam. As attracted to her as he is there is no way he will ever pursue anything but sex with her, the idea of someone knowing what is coming in the future or knowing about a person just by meeting them is definitely not something he can ever consider; he doesn’t want to know what is coming and wants to be in total control of his life in every way.

Cassandra is desperate to find answers to her dreams, dreams which also involve her husband who died two years ago, there is a connection between the two men and she needs Dan’s help in finding what that connection is. She goes as far as offering sex to Dan if he promises to help her and is shocked when he turns her down. He is not about to have sex with her as payment for his help, and having sex with her is something he desperately wants.

Cassandra is an artist in oils, watercolors and textiles and when Dan discovers he actually owns a painting she did, a painting of the lake and area around it that was from thirteen years ago and she should not have known about it because everything had changed and the things in her painting no longer exist. Once again, the idea that she saw visions of a place she never saw in person convinces him that as much as he wants to be with her once he helps her solve her problem, he will willingly send her away.

Surprises, secrets, explicit sex and a man that needed a kick to his rear end, stubborn and unwilling to accept that there are things beyond what we can imagine. He loves her, she loves him but can he ever accept that she will know things before they happen.

This a wonderful book and I highly recommend it.
