The team of Regan Black and Debra Webb has released the forth book in their Specialist Series. Each and every one of the four has been a thought provoking mystery to solve with a great HEA to boot!

These stories portray men who have been in the service, who still want to Serve and Protect, and are on Thomas Casey’s Elite Team. Before Casey retires he would like to place as many young men as he can to keep watch over the cities they are stationed in, whether it be temporary or a permanent placement. In this story ex- Coast Guard, David Martin, is being asked to take on a permanent assignment in Charleston.

His job, is to keep an eye out for nurse Terri Barnhart and Dr Franklin Palmer. Dr Palmer is involved in research that might be looked at by terrorists. David is given a position in HR at the hospital, and slowly meets and becomes friends with Terri. Through this friendship, David learns of Terri’s brother Trey, and his disappearance.

The two authors slowly involve us in a great mystery, and a slow change from friends, to good friends to a lover relationship. The sense of voice and speed of this book keeps the reader involved, and with the sparks between the two lovers and the thrills and chills of the mystery / whodunit we need to solve, the book certainly fills the bill for me.

Great job with this series ladies !!!!
