Cat’s Paw Cove, Florida a magical place filled with witches and magical cats and a place I would definitely visit if it existed. In this short story Luna Halpern, a girl who has had no luck with relationships meets a man from the past, a man from the seventeenth century and a man that gets her total attention.
Colin Wilshire left England with his pregnant wife to escape the creditors his father left behind when he died but unfortunately a severe storm would result in the ship being wrecked and Colin being thrown overboard. All he could think about was finding his wife and in spite of the fact it was an arranged marriage and he didn’t love her it was his duty to protect her and his unborn child.
Sitting on the beach relaxing after a busy day Luna sees a man coming towards her dressed in early period clothes which was not a surprise since it was Founder’s Day and other’s had dressed in seventeenth century clothing, only theirs were fake and his were real. Colin has no idea where he is or how the ship he was on is now in one piece and a place people visit. It doesn’t take long for Colin to realize that he has landed in a new world but he does know that he is falling for Luna and has a decision to make, return to his time and his wife or stay with a woman he actually could love.
This was a beautiful story with secrets, surprises and romance.
