High school senior Michael Sattler leads a charmed life. He’s a star athlete, has great friends, and parents who love him just the way he is. What’s missing from his life is a boyfriend. That’s a problem because he’s out only to his parents and best friend. When Michael accidentally bumps into Christy Castle at school, his life changes in ways he never imagined. Christy is Michael’s dream guy: smart, pretty, and sexy. But nothing could have prepared Michael for what being Christy's boyfriend would entail.

Christy needs to heal after years of abuse and knows he needs help to do it. After the death of his notorious father, he leaves his native Greece and settles in upstate New York. Alone, afraid, and left without a voice, Christy hides the myriad scars of his abuse. He desperately wants to be loved and when he meets Michael, he dares to hope that day has arrived. When one of Michael’s teammates turns enemy, and an abuser from Christy’s past seeks to return him to a life of slavery, only Michael and Christy's combined strength and unwavering determination can save them from the violence that threatens to destroy their future together.

Oh my….first I must say……I am a reviewer….I am the review chair for a book guild…..I see books and authors cross my desk from all over the world daily…..and then there are special ones that write and bring me to my knees. Mr Kennedy, I am honored to buy your books and read your work.

While the stories you write are not for everyone, some readers just want to be entertained. Your stories are gripping and horrifying in its truthfulness; of what pain and atrocities people inflict on another. Reading my first of yours last month , Slaying Isidore’s Dragons made me a forever fan

Omorphi is the first a three book series. We meet young Michael Sattler, high school senior who has it all….Out to his parents he has their love, respect and acceptance! The family is well off, Michael is captain of the track team, is going in to prestigious college after graduation, life is set…. Not so fast….Fate has other plans.

What is missing in Michael’s life is a boyfriend, Only out to his parents and his best friend meeting and falling for Christy Castle could be more than he bargained for. Christy has quite a secret, and we and Michael slowly find out together, piece by piece of the horror that was Christy’s life.

Again we learn of depravity to the inth degree that young children are cast into, torture and inhumane treatment and suffering……but I realized now upon reading this second novel, how our author gives the abused the strength to rise up, and with love and help to not just overcome their past but use it to define themselves as the strong survivors they are.

Michael is a 17 yr old in love, their relationship slowly blossoms. The patience he shows is who he is, a kind gentle young man and their love grows. The story takes some hard twists and turns…Homophobic High School students, danger from Christy’s past, police help, student attacks, needing guards. over 450 pages of love, mystery and did I say a must read!

I have already purchased the next book Tharros……Book #2….
