Amy Lane has a gift for writing complicated characters that are super easy to fall in love with. Slow Pitch is no exception.
Tenner is such a good guy. He has tried to do the right thing his whole life. One hot (and I mean HOT) and public interaction later and Tenner is faced with someone who can change his whole life.
There is so much to love in this book. Watching him embrace his life and learn to lean in to what he can be is so amazing. He is so gentle. Compared to Russ, who can be so brash, it seemed like any interaction was going to be doomed to failure.
But of course, Amy Lane, has a convoluted path for these guys to follow that pulls you along and makes your heart happy. This is about as low angst as I have ever seen from Ms. Lane. It is a joy to read and will be a perfect read for any fan of romance.
