I am sad. I read this series over the past months and I had seven novels ahead of me. Now I am at the seventh and, hopefully, not the last. I think we all have grown through this process. Our Victor is stronger, more assured, and almost centered as he has grown into his unlimited powers and his relationship with Jacob.

With Victor at the beginning of the series feeling ‘why would Jacob pick me?’ we see their relationship has grown, flourished, and made me jealous sometimes of what they have. The love, respect, never mind the never ending hot sex, has grown into a passion for each other that will never be broken.

This last story, again, helps us watch the cast forge ahead with Vic, Lisa, Jacob, and Director Dreyfuss all moving to new heights. Vic must make changes in his dealings with the FPMP. He and Jacob’s ideas have slowly changed, and they need to see what that group’s role will play for them in the future.

Book is great, mystery is great, and writing is great. I cannot say enough. Read it!

I notice I see some shorts and novellas of the gang to entertain me. Yay!.
