When the pickiest eater in America is tapped to judge a cooking competition along with his chef ex-boyfriend, will it be a recipe for a second chance… or disaster?

Luke Walker’s humor about foods he can’t stand made him an internet celebrity and his blog, The Pickiest Eater in America, a huge hit. He plans to bring that same lighthearted comedy to the show—but he won’t be the only host.

Meyer Thibodeaux might be a famous chef, but he’s solemn, uptight, and closeted. He’s also Luke's ex. As different as they are, the sparks between Luke and Meyer never really went out, and as they work together, each begins to see the other in a new light, and the passion between them reignites, hot as ever. But secrets, gossip, and rumors on the set could sour their reunion.

Luke Walker writes a blog about all the foods he hates, and there are a lot, also restaurants that don’t cut the mustard. He has become an internet superstar and it caught the attention of the Cooking Network who wants him to be a guest judge on their show Cooking Masters. The producers of the show are convinced that he will bring something new to the show. There are two things that are making him hesitate, his fear of flying and the possibility that he will run into his ex-boyfriend, Meyer Thibodeaux. He and Meyer were together for three years only he refused to come out as gay so their relationship was hidden something that Luke could no longer deal with. Meyer took off for LA and that was the last time they were together.

When Luke arrived at the studio his fear of running into Meyer was realized because Meyer is a judge for the same food competition. Now he has to deal with being in front of TV cameras and doing something he never did before and deal with being around the man he still cares for. As if that wasn’t enough the producers decided to challenge the chefs to see if they can create a dish that will change Luke’s mind about it and poor Luke has to face the reality of having to taste the very things he hates, mushrooms, bananas and the list goes on.

The producers are more than happy to have Luke show his true feelings about the food knowing that he is a very picky eater and doesn’t hesitate to express how he feels. One chef makes a dish with mushrooms and Luke’s response after tasting it is “tastes like dirt with cream sauce over a mushy puree of battery acid” can’t get any more honest than that and I had a laugh moment something I have been short on lately.

Luke and Meyer have to come to terms with how they feel about each other but unless Meyer is willing to accept who he is there is no hope. It is sad that someone should have so much fear of admitting he is gay it should not happen, it should never have happened but still does. I am not going to go into what happens between Luke and Meyer I have to leave something for you to discover for yourself. Unfortunately someone wants to discredit Luke and Meyer and they received letters threatening them. I also learned more about taping a TV show then I ever expected, I watch the cooking channel and never realized how much went into making a simple cooking show. Once again Mr. Grey you have taught me something and I wonder what you have up your sleeve next.
