She wants to bang a werewolf, not become one.

Sophie Burroughs is determined to be a witch. Her grandmother was a witch. All the other supes say she smells like a witch, but she can’t cast a spell to save her life.

Sprouting fur is so not on her to-do list.

But when a smokin' hot werewolf bites her and then accuses her of crimes against his pack, she has until the next full moon to prove him wrong and stop his magic from transforming her into a wolf.

A romp in the sack would be a nice bonus, too.

Trace Thibodeaux didn’t mean to bite Sophie. The red wolves have been cursed, she's the prime suspect, and if he wants to keep his rank in the pack, he has to end her magic by any means necessary.

But that doesn’t include sheathing his sword in a witch’s scabbard.

He’s gotten into bed with the enemy before, and that’s a mistake he’ll never make again.

Or will he?

If you like funny heroines and smoldering shifters, you'll love this fast, steamy romantic comedy.

This is the second book in a series that combines my favorite genre, paranormal romance, with a story that makes me laugh. It’s like hitting the jackpot. Although you can read these books out of order, I would highly recommend starting with book one, License to Bite, since the characters carry over from one book to the other. In book one, we had the story of Jane and Ethan and Jane’s best friend, Sophie Burroughs. Now we have Sophie’s story that began at the end of book one.

If you have read book one, then you know Sophie was determined to find a werewolf. However, the one she found bit her and ran. She does not want to grow fur, she wants to be a witch like her grandmother. To date, not one of her attempts at a spell have worked out. She wants what Jane has, someone to love but the only love she gets are the dogs she walks for her business and Jane.

Trace Thibodeaux is a werewolf who suspects Sophie is responsible for cursing his pack and doing something to his friend who has disappeared. He never intended to bite her, but it is too late for regrets. Trace’s pack shifts at random times, any place, and any time which could be dangerous for them. The only hope is that Trace will get Sophie to remove the curse, but that would require him to question her. When he falls to the curse and winds up in his wolf form, Sophie sees him and assumes he is a lost dog. Taking him home, bathing him, and watching as he jumps into her bed, she goes for a shower. On her way out of the bathroom, a naked, sexy man is sleeping on her bed, and she is sure he hurt the dog. This was one of the scenes that made me laugh out loud. Believe me with the world upside down, a good laugh is worth its weight in gold. I won’t explain the rest of the scene and how she defended herself I have to leave something for you to find out for yourself.

Searching for the witch to blame for what is going on, trying to find his packmate, and trying to find out why she is a witch with no power leads to so many wonderful moments and so many wonderful characters. We reunite with Jane, and we meet a new character, Crimson, her story is something I will not reveal. I don’t think we are finished with her yet.

This series is something you should not miss, vampires, werewolves and witches, sexy men, and women and a fun, fun time.
