A very sweet novella about the miracle of Hanukkah and about finding love. Rachel Schaecter is a kindergarten teacher in a public school in Manhattan and she has a very special feeling for one of her students, six year old Jessie Cohen. Jessie loves Rachel and when she draws a family picture it is her, her dad and Rachel.

When Rachel is invited to spend the first night of Hanukkah at her neighbor Harriet’s house she has no idea that Harriet had an ulterior motive she had planned on putting her son and Rachel together only Rachel had no idea that Harriet was Jessie’s grandmother and that her father was a man that totally rang all her bells.

Unfortunately since the death of his wife Benjamin has lived a life that is always planned out and organized in addition to him being bossy something Rachel had to deal with with her ex and is not willing to deal with again.

Can Rachel and Benjamin find love, will he finally let his past stay in the past and embrace a future with Rachel, will Hanukkah prove to be a miracle for two wonderful people and a little girl who needs a mommy to love, read this story and find out.
